Erta was established in 1984 in Istanbul as a manufacturer and supplier of piezo igniters. In 1992, the company expanded its manufacturing plant and changed its name to Erta Electromechanical Industries Ltd. Co. to reflect its expanding range of products and new vision. In the beginning of 2015, due to growing demand, company kind has been changed from limited form to corporation form and the company name has been changed to Erta Electromechanical Industries A.S.

The products of ERTA are consisted of 8 main groups (Pilot Group, Electrode, Thermocouple, Electrical Igniters, Battery Igniter, Piezo Igniter, Gas Nozzle and Microswitch).

Since the establishment, due to the vision and direction of its management, ERTA has become the leading supplier in the Turkish market and increasingly serves to international market with export to more than 30 countries in it's 4.000m2 production plant 

Our aim is to be a major supplier not only in Turkey but also in the world market, while selling top quality products at competitive rates with the help of our own production automation machines.

In order to achieve our targets; LEAN PRODUCTION and INDUSTRY 4.0 have been chosen as two main tools and lean production activities have become a culture by spreading throughout ERTA since 2014.
