ERTA have been producing standard and special pilot groups for both NG & LPG in several models since 1992.
Pilot burners with ODS (Oxygen Depletion System) are also manufactured in the factory.
What is "Oxygen Depletion System (ODS)"?
Once the CO-CO2 levels in the room rises (for example the chimney is blocked for some reason and the emissions are spilling into the room); the people in the room are at risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
This is where the ODS comes in. When the air quality in the room drops; the combustion air around the pilot will change the pilot flame quality.
The gas pressure (which is constant) will then cause the pilot flame to lift away from the pilot assembly.
As the flame is lifting away, it is also lifting away from the thermocouple causing the thermocouple to cool down.
Once the thermocouple has cooled enough there will not be enough electrical current flowing and the gas valve will automatically shut off all the gas to the appliance.
In other saying; ODS is a small pilot burner which is designed to shut off all the gas to the appliance when there is not much oxygen available in the room to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning danger to the user.
Moreover, ERTA also produces special pilot groups by cooperating with customers and developing new projects.
